High Conflict Co-Parenting Program

The goals of our program:

• Offer a safe, effective environment for parents to focus on their children first.
• Help parents understand why they are in conflict with each other.
• Help parents understand how their conflict is affecting their children.
• Teach skills to help minimize conflict between the parents.
• Teach communication skills.
• Offer SOLUTION-FOCUSED methods and conflict management skills.
• How to set boundaries when there is remarriage or significant others involved.
• Offer interventions and guidelines to create an effective parent plan.

This is an 10 week program designed to help parents in conflict regroup and work together in the best interest of their children.

This program involves individualized time as well as group time to teach divorced parents how to communicate, work together, and understand how their conflict is affecting their children.

Individualized time will be spent with a licensed clinician in order to understand the dynamics of the divorce and the children involved.  The clinician will meet with each parent individually.

Group time will involve a classroom setting with other co-parents.  The material will be taught by two licensed clinicians over an 8 week period for 2 hours each week.

Once the group time is complete, the clinician will work with the parents to discuss issues that relate specifically to their case.

The cost for this service is $650 per co-parent.  This includes individual and group sessions, text book and workbook. Please note, this cost is substantially less than a custody evaluation with greater results and opportunities for better parenting.  Registration is limited to 5 families per program session.
